Most of the songs I've written have been in my own quiet times or come out of prophetic worship released in church. I believe God has called me to write songs that are both worshipful and declare His heart and purpose while allowing His people to do the same. The new album, Brighter Shining Still, contains some incredibly powerful moments captured in His presence. There's an urgency and expectation here that I hope you find contagious. I've had the privilege to travel all over the US and around the world, leading worship and speaking at conferences. There is certainly plenty wrong in the world, but it cannot stop what God has intended to do. He is after an awakening and we get to agree and experience that reality. His Kingdom never decreases, but only increases! That's why I called this album, Brighter Shining Still. The glory that God is revealing through the Church, Jesus' bride is only increasing in intensity. The only question is, will we be a part of it or stuck in our own thinking, apathy, or complacency?
