THE OVERFLOW STORY: I had the true honor of traveling to the Middle East early this year and meeting many courageous Christian leaders there who risk their lives to follow Jesus every day. What a joyful privilege to get to know them and worship with them; a gift, unforgettable and undeserved. I also met and saw many, many other people there living joyless lives without a Savior. On my return, I felt so challenged to be a person marked by the joy of my Lord. A kind of joy that is deep and lasting, and that speaks to a hopeless world that there is a God of mercy, love and peace! This has been my goal and prayer this year, and it is my hope that God's joy - the kind that brings tears of joy, endurance, strength, courage and laughter - will overflow as we worship with these songs together!
