2009 four disc (three CDs + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) box set Revolving around legendary Blues musician Charley Patton, his influences and other artists that followed in his wake. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the death of the 'Father of the Delta Blues'. Son House, Robert Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Howlin' Wolf all feature here and have Patton to thank for his groundbreaking work. As well as tracks from the man himself, the set also contains many of Patton's contemporaries, such as Ma Rainey and Blind Lemon Jefferson. Proper.
