Hailed as a founding father of New Orleans Rhythm & Blues. Developed a unique piano style that included Caribbean Mambo & Samba. One of the original Crescent City Three which included Huey 'piano' Smith & Fats Domino. His hit 'Go to the Mardi Gras' has become an anthem for New Orleans.
