Companion 2-CD set to the upcoming tour film Heima (to be released on DVD 11/20), Hvarf/Heim presents two sides of Sigur Ros’s collective whole – the Hvarf (which means “disappeared”) disc is comprised of five new studio recordings of Sigur Ros songs that have either never been recorded, recorded but never released, or are radical revisions of older songs. The Heim (translated “home”) disc contains six live acoustic tracks recorded during the band’s Icelandic tour in the Summer of 2006.
