After the international success of PLANET, LETTER, and NOCHE, Sofiane Pamart returns with a fourth solo album—his most ambitious project to date.
Envisioned as a deeply personal and cinematic project, MOVIE represents a new artistic milestone—an album conceived as the first “film” he has ever scored himself. “MOVIE is the soundtrack of the life I carry within me. I often receive proposals to compose for cinema, but I wanted my fourth album to be the first movie I ever scored,” says Sofiane Pamart.
Spanning 20 tracks, the album marks a turning point in the evolution of the star pianist. In addition to the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofiane collaborates with 14 global stars including Wyclef Jean, Celeste, Loreen, Rema, J Balvin, FKJ, Christine and the Queens, SIA, RIMON, RILES, Melody Gardot, Oscar & The Wolf, Nelly Furtado, and the NBA's Jimmy Butler. It’s an unprecedented scale for an artist who, in just a few years, has become a defining figure in contemporary piano music. Both intimate and monumental, and unmistakably his own, this album represents a major milestone in Sofiane Pamart’s career.
