The head of an advertising agency, played by Jack Benny, is charged with choosing a queen for the yearly Artists and Models Ball in this fast-paced musical comedy directed by Raoul Walsh (High Sierra, 1941, They Drive by Night, 1940) and co-starring Ida Lupino in an early role. The score includes the Oscar nominated song, Whispers in the Dark, and specialty numbers include comics Ben Blue and Judy Canova, Martha Raye and Louis Armstrong and the singing quartet, the Yacht Club Boys.
