Uwe Boll, director of this, House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark and other video game adaptations, is so critically despised that he once challenged his naysayers to boxing matches. It was an amazing, surreal, only kind of sad, yet totally effective display of self-promotion, as he still garners at least B-list talent for his films. Ron "Hellboy" Perlman, Matthew "Scream" Lillard and Jason "Professional Ass-Kicker" Statham round out this Lord of the Rings-style fantasy. Judge for yourself.back to top
